Privacy Policy
How we handle your data when you use CalcVo.
Last updated: July 13, 2026
CalcVo is a free calculator toolbox. We do not require accounts. This policy describes what data we collect, what we do not collect, and how third parties are involved when you use specific features.
What we collect
Calculator inputs
Standard calculator math runs entirely in your browser. We do not store your inputs on our servers unless you create a share link (encoded in the URL or stored temporarily for short links).
AI parse requests
When you use the AI Calculator, your text is sent to our server and forwarded to OpenRouter (and the underlying model provider) solely to extract calculator fields. We do not use this text for advertising. The AI layer never receives or returns computed numeric results.
Share links
Share URLs encode calculator inputs in query parameters. Short links store the same encoded state temporarily in server memory (up to 30 days). Do not share links containing sensitive personal or financial data you would not want others to see.
Analytics
If enabled in production, we may collect anonymous page views and calculator usage events without personally identifiable information.
What we do not collect
- Accounts, passwords, or payment information in v1
- Sale of personal data to advertisers or data brokers
- Computed results from the AI service — only field extraction
Cookies
CalcVo v1 does not use tracking cookies. Hosting providers may set essential technical cookies required to serve the application.
Third parties
- OpenRouter / LLM provider: processes AI parse text per their policies when you use the AI Calculator
- Hosting provider: serves the application and may process standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL)
Your choices
- Use calculators without creating share links to keep inputs local
- Avoid the AI Calculator if you do not want text sent to a model provider
- Clear your browser history to remove locally stored state
Children
CalcVo is a general-purpose calculator site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data through our contact channels, please email us.
Changes
We will update this policy if our data practices change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
