Attendance percentage formula
Attendance % = (Classes attended ÷ Classes conducted) × 100. If 32 of 40 classes were held and you attended 32, your attendance is 80%. Missing classes permanently lowers your maximum possible percentage because conducted count includes past absences.
The 75% rule
Many Indian and international colleges require 75% attendance for exam eligibility. At 75% on 40 classes, you need at least 30 attended. The CalcVo Attendance Calculator shows exactly how many more classes you must attend or how many you can still miss.
Planning absences
If you are above the threshold, the calculator estimates skip allowance assuming you attend all future classes. If below, it shows catch-up classes needed. Medical leave and official exemptions may not count — check your institution's policy.
Use the attendance calculator
Enter classes conducted, classes attended, and your required percentage. The CalcVo Attendance Calculator returns current %, status, skip allowance or catch-up count instantly.
